Our Vision and Values as we Transition into NEAT Academy Trust

At Whitehouse Primary School, we are excited to announce our transition into the NEAT Academy Trust. As part of this transition, we are adopting NEAT's shared purpose, vision, and strategic aims, which align with our commitment to providing an exceptional education for our students. Please find below our shared purpose and values:

Our Shared Purpose: Nurturing, Educating, Achieving, and Transforming

Our shared purpose as a trust is to nurture, educate, achieve, and transform. We believe in preparing our learners for a changing world by recognizing and nurturing their unique qualities, providing an environment that fosters growth and potential. Our goal is to instill a love of learning, enable our students to achieve their goals, and empower them to realize their dreams. Through our work with young people and their families, we aim to develop resilient, aspirational, respectful, resourceful, creative, and effective communicators.

Our Responsibilities: Students, Staff, Communities, and Public Benefit

We recognize our responsibilities to various stakeholders within our school community:

  • Students and Families: Our first responsibility is to our students and their families. We strive to provide a safe and stimulating environment that recognizes and nurtures their diversity and achievements. We aim to create classrooms and learning spaces that are inspiring and conducive to learning, meeting the unique needs of our learners. We value effective partnerships within each community and aim to be an integral part of the local community.
  • Employees and Volunteers: We value our employees and volunteers, recognizing their diversity and achievements. We provide a safe and stimulating environment where they are well-led, empowered to be innovative, and have opportunities for professional development.
  • Communities: We are accountable to the communities in which we work. We adapt our approach to be locally relevant, ensuring our schools are safe, welcoming, and nurturing effective partnerships within each community.
  • Public Benefit: We are accountable to the Regional Schools Commissioner and the Education and Skills Funding Agency. We educate our learners for public benefit and use public money effectively, efficiently, and ethically. We embrace innovation and respond flexibly to changing circumstances to ensure the sustainability of the trust and transform the life chances of our communities.

Our Values: Aspirational, Collaborative, Inclusive, Innovative, Responsible

Our values are the behaviors that enable us to achieve our common purpose and deliver our vision and strategic aims:

  • Aspirational: We aim high for ourselves and others, setting ambitious goals and striving for excellence.
  • Collaborative: We believe in the power of collaboration and work best when we come together as one trust, leveraging our collective strengths.
  • Inclusive: We welcome and value every individual, fostering a sense of belonging and creating an inclusive and supportive environment for all.
  • Innovative: We embrace creativity and forward thinking in our work, seeking innovative solutions and approaches to enhance teaching and learning.
  • Responsible: We act professionally and ethically, making decisions in the best interests of the trust community and upholding our commitment to accountability.

We engage in an ongoing dialogue at all levels within the trust to further develop and refine these values, ensuring they are embedded in our daily practices.
