Important Update: Changes to the Governing Body and Sponsorship

We would like to inform our Whitehouse Primary School community that the Governing Body has been dissolved and replaced by an Interim Executive Board (IEB). This change has been made in response to the recent 'inadequate' Ofsted grade that the school received. We are committed to addressing the areas of improvement highlighted by the inspection and taking steps towards positive change.

What is an Interim Executive Board (IEB)?

An Interim Executive Board (IEB) is a temporary governance structure established by the local authority or the Department for Education. Its purpose is to provide immediate support and leadership to a school that requires significant improvement. The IEB is composed of experienced professionals who bring expertise in various areas, including education, finance, and leadership. They work closely with the school staff and leadership to implement necessary changes and drive improvement.

NEAT Academy Trust: Our New Sponsor

We are pleased to announce that as of 1st January 2024, Whitehouse Primary School will be transitioning to become an Academy within the NEAT Academy Trust. NEAT Academy Trust is a reputable and successful multi-academy trust known for its commitment to high-quality education and nurturing school environments. We are excited about the opportunities this partnership will bring and believe it will greatly benefit our students, staff, and wider school community.
